Immature
At school today I got in a huge argument, more like screaming match, with some kid I don't even know. Sure I feel bad, but I think I had enough reason behind it. In the grand scheme of things it was about being in the "emo kids spot in the cafeteria" which I know sounds ridiculous. What happened was some of my classmates and I sitting there involuntarily for a class that just so happened to be during a lunch hour when these "emo" kids came and stood around us. They kept getting in our faces and then having one of those conversations where you pretend like the person you're trash talking isnt right there in front of you when obviously they are. All of them were saying how "preppy kids don't belong here" and how we "needed to move". I, trying to show some understanding and trying to avoid more confrontation explained to the one who was doing the most talking that we'll be gone in 5 minutes but for the mean time there are plenty of other places to sit. He apparently took offense to that and decided that it'd be fine to get in my face and say, "You fat ass bitches need to move, especially when I tell you to,"...so I got right back in his face. Seeing as I'm a girl who stands at 5'3 and he was probably 6'3, it probably wasn't the best idea but I definitely got my point across. Yes, it was childish. Yes, I could have ignored it and walked away. But I honestly don't think I was in the wrong, I was only trying to stand up for myself. He started it over a a stupid lunch table, I started it over the fact that he thought it'd be fine to get in our faces and act like a complete d-bag, is it wrong to stand up for myself?

I liked when kids acted tough in front of their friends, It gave me more of a reason to make fun of them, and then make them feel like shit. You did the right thing. I've been out of school for 4 years, and still when I am walking through town I will see some skater kids or something and they will try to make fun of me or something, I don't even know them or look at them and they just try to piss me off. It's quite amusing. Good day.
